ReadLater is a personal knowledge capture tool. This policy explains what data the extension collects, how it is used, and how it is stored.
All data is stored in your own backend (self-hosted or deployed by you
on a service such as Render). The extension itself stores only a
short-lived authentication token in chrome.storage.session
(cleared when the browser closes) and your API server URL in
chrome.storage.local.
No data is sent to any third-party service. The only network requests made by the extension are to the API server URL you configure.
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any third party. Your saved articles and account information never leave the backend you control.
You can delete individual articles at any time from the extension. To delete your account and all associated data, remove the database from your backend server.

If this policy changes materially, the "Last updated" date above will be revised. Continued use of the extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
